My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games are to be the top Ontario Biathlete.
To have a racing percentage above 85% and shoot clean.
To meet athletes from other provinces and sports.
To emerse myself into the cultural experience of these Games.
My personal role model
Picking a personal role model is very hard but I would say that I look up to and am inspired by my fellow team members of the Augustana Biathlon Team. The dedication and passion that they show in their university studies and in biathlon has been a great example to me. They make me work harder every day to achieve my life goals and biathlon goals. They are also a great source of support and knowledge in both biathlon and life.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I began the sport of biathlon through the Air Cadet program and reached the National level in 2004 and 2005. Cadets launched me into the competitive world of biathlon and Ive been hooked ever since.
Currently Iam coaching for the Camrose Ski Club in both the Jr. Vikings and Biathlon Bear program. It is a great way to give back to the sport and encourage recreation in our youth.
