My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Game are to prove that even though I'm one of the younger atheles on the team, that I am ready for this type of stiff competition. I want to prove that I won my spot on the team.
My personal role model
Marianne Waite. Marianne plays for the St. Thomas Tommies University Hockey Team. I love that she has such a positive attitude. She has all the qualities I strive for in my daily life. Leadership, faith, dependability, committment, patience and most of a genuine love of the game of hockey.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I am the fourteen year-old daughter of Rocky and Sheila Lyons. I am a grade nine student at Leo Hayes High School in Fredericton New Brunswick.

I have a very busy life, as I am active in male and female competitive hockey, competitive softball and many school sports. My passion in life is hockey. One of my very favorite ways to spend my time is showing and driving our 18 percheron draft horses.

I have been around horses all of my life and started showing at the age of four. I love every aspect of raising and showing horses as well as training them to saddle.

Every year I am lucky enough to participate in fairs and shows all over the Atlantic Provinces and eastern United States.
