My personal role model
Shannon Anderson. Shannon started coaching me when I was 15 years old, and taught me technique that was unique and different. Not only did she help improve my game but she taught me skills that perfected the way I play. She is an amazing goalie and without her I would not be able to play at this caliber. Her confident, and laid back personality had the greatest effect on me, because it taught me to relax and believe in myself which has helped me improve my game to a level that I never thought possible. Shannon is my role model because she taught me more that how just to be a great goalie, she made me realize that with hard work dedication, and self confidence anything and everything is possible.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
In June of 2006 three friends and I shaved our heads to raise money for cancer research. We raised a total of over $2000 and we donated our hair to locks of love to help make wigs for cancer patients.
