Other information that could be of interest to the media
I live in a rural farming community. I help out with the operations of our family grain farm.
I help to coach in our local club.
I am the second oldest of eight children.
I am the only skater that is on the short track team that is from outside Calgery. I have been training for these games for the past two years. During this time I have done most of the extra training on my own. I must travel up to 800km one way to participate in several competitions, as well as to gain extra training. Despite the disadvantage of minimal weekly ice time and little formal training, I have managed to make the cut for the short track team for Alberta.
