My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games are: to play my best so that our team does well, to see, experience and play with the highest level of competition in Canada. My goals after the Canada Winter Games are to get a scholarship playing women's hockey, and hopefully the Canada Winter Games will be the first step in my dream.
My personal role model
I don't really have a specific role model, but I do admire all of the women who play and have played on Canada's National Women's hockey team.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I am excited to be one of the assistant captains. I am only 14 and in the Canada Winter Games, I will be most likely playing against 17 year olds. When I competed in the Judo Nationals, I was the Youngest in my age category (1989-1992). I have done Judo for 7 years. My judo training for many years has assisted me in strength, coordination and balance. I am stronger than I look.
