Mes objectifs pour les Jeux d'hiver du Canada 2007
My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games is to work my hardest and fulfill my role as a member of Team Nova Scotia to lead us to the Gold Medal at the Games. Also to take this whole once-in-a-lifetime experience and enjoy myself while competing as well as taking in the new culture and meeting new people across Canada
Mon modèle, mon inspiration
My personal role model Teemu Selanne who plays with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, he's my favourite hockey player in the NHL. How he broke two NHL records during his rookie season, amount of goals and points scored by a rookie. Also he has broke the 500 mark for goals scored in his career as well. Also Stacy Wilson who was a 4-time world Champion with the Canadian National Women's Team, as well as team captain in 1997 and 1998. She gave me her hockey card signed by her to me saying "Dare To Follow Your Dreams", which is really encouraging hearing this from her, who has worked so hard and gotten on the Canadian National Team.
Autres renseignements me concernant qui pourraient intéresser les médias
I have been in Ballet since I was six years old. Playing hockey and Ballet are two opposites but I do attend both. I also have played soccer for 10 years. I am heavily involved in community and school athletics. I play Volleyball, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Softball, and Track & Field for my school. While involved with all these extra-curricular activities, I still maintain very high academic marks and am also the Vice President of my school;s Student Council. I am a very busy person and am on the go constantly and always strive to be the best I can be at everything I do.
