My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games are to continuously improve my race times, and to attain better shooting percentages and make Ontario proud of me as I strive for a podium finish at the Canada Winter Games.
My personal role model
My personal role model is my Grandmother, who passed away last year due to a stroke. She is my role model because she exemplifies Jesus Christ's attributes including his unconditional love. She always rooted for me in any athletic endeavour and supported me in whatever choices I made. I love and miss her very much.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I first began skiing at the age of 18 months old in Kapuskasing. My family and I would ski well into spring, and do 'portages' between the patches of snow. We did and still do have Easter Egg hunts on the ski trails. I usually ended up in the snow bank courtesy of my brothers. I am currently in my fourth cross-country ski racing season, and began biathlon last year. I am a Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor. My career aspiration is to become a pharmacist, and also give back to the ski community by coaching Junior skiers.
