My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
I would like to represent Nova Scotia well by playing my personal best.
My personal role model
Fernando Gonzalez, a professional tennis player, is my personal role model. He is great at what he does and is usually considered the "underdog" during a match. This never stops him, however, and he plays with all his heart. He will give it everything he has and run down any ball given to him.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I first started playing badminton only because my three other siblings played and I felt left out. They told me to join, which I did in Grade 8. We all ended up making the Canada Games team until the last cut, which was really quite amazing, and made for fun training.
