Majors Sign Two For Upcoming Season
07/17/06 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Toronto-St. Michael's Majors:
The Toronto St. Michael's Majors are pleased to announce that they have signed two of their picks from the recent 2006 OHL Priority Selection - 1st round pick Dylan O'Neill, and 3rd round pick Chris Carrozzi.
The second signing is another 16-year-old, netminder Chris Carrozzi. A native of Nepean Ontario, Chris was selected 60th overall by the Majors. This 6'2", 207 pound goaltenders statistics with the Nepean Raiders Midget AAA last season were nothing short of spectacular as he posted a 24-8-2 record, with a 1.97 goals against average, and 6 shut outs. "Chris is a big, strong, very athletic young goalie," said Majors Coach Bud Stefanski, "Everything we have seen indicates that Chris will have very few problems making the jump to the OHL."
