Mes objectifs pour les Jeux d'hiver du Canada 2007
The ideal is to do the best of my ability. I've trained as hard as I could have to get to the Canada Winter Games, and in a sport such as short track speed skating, placing well is about being smart. So my goal is to race very smart, bring home some medals, meet new people, make new friends, and have the time of my life.
Mon modèle, mon inspiration
There's too many to really put down. Aside from my family (my two sisters, my mom and dad), I try to model myself after anyone who really feels they have a purpose, someone who doesn't just treat life as a passing, someone who can put themselves forward without any discontent.
However if I had to put a name to a role model it would be Crystal Phillips.
Crystal last year was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She was a former Junior National Team member and also competed at the Canada winter games. Through all her hardships and all the curveballs life has thrown at this outstanding girl, she remains happy, optimistic and really lifts everyone that she ever come in contact with. She was always kind to me when I was growing up in the sport and always treated me equal to everyone else. She always will be a real role model for me.

I am also a singer/song writer working on releasing a demo album with 4 years of effort into it. I also continue to take singing lessons as I have for the previous 8 years.

I attend the National Sport School in Calgary, Alberta to accommodate my hectic training schedule and my chaotic academic lifestyle.

This was a very inspiring experience for me at age 12, not to mention being around all of my heroes; it was thrilling.
