Mes objectifs pour les Jeux d'hiver du Canada 2007
My goals for the upcoming Canada Winter Games are to compete at the highest level against people from other provinces and territories. I also hope to socialize with people from other provinces while having the opportunity to visit a new part of Canada that I have never seen before. It will be very interesting to have a chance to see other athletes from different sports competing.
Mon modèle, mon inspiration
My personal role model is Hayley Wickenheiser because she represents our country in two different sports. She represents Canada in the summer Olympics for softball while making a remarkable contribution to the winter Olympics for hockey. She is a multi-talented athlete and remains a great inspiration for all young women determined to achieve recognition as female athletes.
Autres renseignements me concernant qui pourraient intéresser les médias
After winning a Canadian National title in Taekwondo and soccer, I now have a chance to compete for another national title in hockey; the sport I like most. It would be an amazing personal accomplishment to have a third national title in a third sport. Aside from sports, I come from a very big family of fives girls including two set of twins. I myself have a twin who supports me in every sport and has often been my teammate. Because my parents are originally from Québec, I grew up in a French-speaking home in Ontario and I am perfectly bilingual.
