Obtain personal best times.
Enjoy meeting other athletes and artists from across Canada.
My personal role model
The person in my sport I most admire is Marc Gagnon, but I don't have one personal role model. There are many people in my life who I respect and admire for their various traits and accomplishments.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
In March 2006, while competing at the Arctic Winter Games in Kenai Alaska for Team Yukon's Junior Boys Speedkskating team, I had a collision that resulted in a lacerated knee, torn cartilage and a fractured femur. Emergency surgery put me back together, but in the two months I was on crutches, and the rehab that followed gave me a lot of time to wonder if I would be able to qualify for the Canada Winter Games. I was so happy when I made qualifying times. I feel I've already achieved success at these games, simply by being back on the ice and representing Yukon. I want to skate well and hope to make personal best times.
