My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goals for the 2007 Canada Games are to do my best and to apply everything that I have learned during training. I’m looking forward to this new experience, and absorbing every minute of it.
My personal role model
My personal role models are my grandfathers. This is because they both served in the army during World War II. One was in the Highland Light Infantry and the other was in the Devil’s Brigade, known as the First Special Service Force. I look up to them for what they contributed to their Country and the world. This has inspired me to study hard and to hopefully join the army reserves so that I can attend the Royal Military College. I hope to have a career in the field of Intelligence.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I have taken lessons in different forms of dance. I continue to study and compete in Traditional Step Dancing, through the BATD syllabus, at The Joseph Wallin School of Dance. I have found that my dance training and practicing, along with my fencing classes, have helped me improve my footwork and endurance in both areas. I love to read, and World History is my favourite subject with particular interest in the Military.
