My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
To finish first in the team event, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. To support all my teammates throughout the event. To represent Alberta well.
My personal role model
For sports it is Steve Yzerman. He is the ultimate leader who sacrifices glory, money, and health for the betterment of his team. Outside of sports it is my mother and sister. Their constant achievements motivate me daily and their support is unwavering.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I am currently in my second year of study at Carleton University majoring in Mass Communication. I currently train part-time at the Regional Training Center in Ottawa while doing full-time schooling. I lived in Denmark for 1 season playing full-time at the IBA and for a club team. I enjoy cross training with running, TKO boxing classes, shiney hockey, ultimate frisbee and soccer in the summers. I love to read books, shop with my family, and relax at home with my dogs.
