Other information that could be of interest to the media
I fractured a vertebrae while skating 2 wks before ST trials, so I have had to fight my way back on to the team.
I love the smell of rink ice and I love speed. I love being in the middle of a race, the feeling of being in a confined space, hearing everyone breathing, the spray in your face, being on the very edge, but somehow you hang on.
There is nothing more exciting then passing on the inside, going into the corner when you're not sure you will make it.
