Other information that could be of interest to the media
I was born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and moved with my parents to Nova Scotia at the age of 6. I started playing competitive table tennis in Grade 5 since that was the only school team could make in Grade 5. I continued to play and competed in the NSTTA circuit of tournaments. I collected enough selection points and played for the U-13, U-15, and U-18 teams of Nova Scotia. I also love playing all kinds of sports and am a member of my school's Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Track & Field, and Table Tennis teams.
