Mes objectifs pour les Jeux d'hiver du Canada 2007
Our team goal is to place on the podium, hopfully first. My personal figure goal is to place in the top 25.
Mon modèle, mon inspiration
My role model is Kristin Normand, the team captain of the 2000 Canadian Olympic Synchronized swimming team. She struggled throughout her training years and did not always get on the podium. After she did not make the Olympic team in 1996 she was going to quit but came back more determined and did even better. I am motivated by her story to keep tryng even when I don't do as well as I would like.
Autres renseignements me concernant qui pourraient intéresser les médias
I was born in Prince Edward Island and started my synchronized swimming career in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I have lived in 4 provinces so far. I now swim with the Edmonton Auroras team but live in a community 70 km south of the city. I attend High School part time in order to train and drive 2 hours a day, six days a week for training. Most of my homework is done while travelling to and from the pool. I am the oldest of six children. I love to sing. My future goal is to represent Canada in the Olympics in 2012.
