Mon modèle, mon inspiration
My personal role model would be my grandmother. She has been diagonosed with cancer and still wakes up with a smile on her face every morning. She is extremly positive and doesn't let her sickness bring her down; it has only made her stronger.
Autres renseignements me concernant qui pourraient intéresser les médias
Last year, when I was in the middle of an intense training camp, I was diagonosed with epilepsy. I didn't let that slow down my training with the "why me's" I just continued as if everything was normal. I dont think this has made me a weaker athlete in any way, if anything I think it has made me stronger. I had one bad night when I cried a lot, then the next morning I got up and said to my mom, "I'm no different than I was before, I've been having seizures for a year already but didn't know what it was, now we just have a name for it, but I'm still the same person."
