My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My main objective is to do well in the competitions, but I also want to experience new cultures and other parts of Canada. The experience I expect to gain at the 2007 Canada Winter Games will last a life time. I will have a oportunity to compete against boxers from other Provinces and Territories that I otherwise would not have the chance. This will also give me chance to meet other athletes with similar interests from all over the country.
My personal role model
To be honest I have to say my role models are my boxing coaches - Joe Graves and Nancy Chittick. They have inspired me to do my best not only in boxing but in school and every thing I do. They have helped me grow as a boxer, an athlete and a person.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
My life is centered around my family. My older sister Brittany comes to all of my boxing matches and is one of my biggest supporters. My mother and step-dad come to every match and my little sister (Amber) comes to all the local matches. When I am not training or in school, I go to my Dad's and spend time with him.
