My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
It has always been a life long goal of mine to play side by side with my younger brother, Robert DeJong. He is a young player with loads of potential. My goal is to bring out the best out in him. We have grown up together; and even think alike. These advantages will defiantly help our chances as we set our sights on a Canada Winter Games medal.
‘You can choose a partner, but you can’t choose your brother'
My personal role model
•Jarome Iginla•
Jarome Iginla is a natural born leader, hungry to hold the mantle of leader and champion. He sets the tone and the rest of the team follows. It's all about the W, no personal statistics. He's an ideal two way forward and an all-around player. Every night he brings a vintage style mean streak, and has no problem battling his opponents: tooth and nail. I've seen many great leaders in various sports, and Jarome Iginla is defiantly among the best.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
Last night I had a dream.
When I got to Yukon, everybody started,
I had to beat big-foot, to prove I was king of the arctic.
For this fight, I’ve wrassled with buffalo,
I’ve tustled with a whale.
I done handcuffed lightning
And put thunder in jail.
You know I’m bad.
I have murdered a rock,
I injured a stone, and I hospitalized a brick.
I’m so bad, I make medicine sick.
I’m so fast, man,
I can run through a hurricane and don’t get wet.
When other provinces meets me,
They will soon pay their debt.
I can drown the drink of water, and kill a dead tree.
Can’t wait till you see, Billy a. D.
