Mon modèle, mon inspiration
My greatest role model to date would have to be a lifetime friend and teammate. This individual was born with a speech impediment and has dealt with it's challenges his entire life without complaint. Last year, he started to have seizures and after many expensive tests, doctors have determined that a tumor has been causing these seizures. He is the most genuine person I know, he never thinks about himself and is always more concerned with your well being. Despite his diagnosis, Joe has continued with his everyday life and is living life to the fullest. I am forever inspired by his courage and wish him nothing but my good wishes and good health in his surgery and treatment to come.

I have participated in the Ontario Winter games in '02, '04 and '06 and the Ontario Summer games in '02. I was named athlete of the year at my high school as well have participated in the Canadian Ringette Championships in '03. I have recovered from two consecutive ACL reconstruction surgeries in the 2years prior to the Canada Winter Games
