My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
My goal is to win the gold medal in Pre-Novice Ice Dance for Ontario. I would also like to fully enjoy the experience of the 2007 Canada Winter Games, and to embrace this unique opportunity to get to know athletes from all part of Canada and to learn about their homes, their sports and their cultures.
My personal role model
The Canadian Senior Ice Dance team of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
Ryan and I started doing ice dance together 6 years ago just for fun (I was 8 and he was 10 years old). We had a great time that first year, and still really enjoy skating together after six years. We hope to continue to grow as an ice dance team, eventually competing for Canada internationally. In addition to skating I enjoy swimming, playing piano and trumpet, and listening to music.
