Other information that could be of interest to the media
I broke my back forest firefighting in Wood Buffalo National Park, NWT two years ago and never thought I would get back up to the North again, let alone competing in the Canada Winter Games! It is really exciting for me to be able to return, especially in such a physical capacity.

Also, as the only girl on Team BC, it's very much like forest firefighting again. Back in the boys club!
