My goals for the 2007 Canada Winter Games
We have set team goals and we will achieve them. As a team representing our great island, we have the added pressure of living up to the island's reputation of placing sportmanship above all else.
My personal role model
I have two cousins that have always been true role models in sports for me. Rachel Cucliffe and Cassie Mackenzie are both exceptional athletes as well as awsome people. Rachel played Canada Games Hockey in the last set of games and really inspired me to pursue the 2007 set. Cassie played rugby with Team Canada under 19 and also coached me as I began my rugby career. I couldn't ask for better role models.
Other information that could be of interest to the media
I am a grade 12 student at Bluefield High school. Next year I plan on entering the faculty of science and eventually applying to medical school. My goal is to achieve a career in medicine and to make a difference.
